I see her smile in each grain of sand that passes through my toes at Hapuna. The beach was her favorite place to go and her skin was golden like the sand there.
"Let's blow off the day," she'd say. "We can shop later and you know, I don't give a damn if your toilets are clean! I'm your sister, not a freaking B&B guest."

"Take my hand in yours
Walk with me this day
In my heart, I know
I will never stray!
Halle, halle, halle, halle, halle, halle, halle"
Brother Love, where are you today? Do you hold my sister's smile in the palm of your gospel hand?
