4-5 pound pork butt roast or shoulder
2 cloves garlic, minced
3T. Hawaiian salt
2 1/2T. liquid smoke
little bit water
Cook in a large slow cooker (crockpot) for 12-14 hours on low heat or 9-11 hours on high heat. Might need to add a little bit water to the pot. Drain oil and separate the meat when it is finished. The meat will be tender.
This dish often served with chopped cabbage and onion that is cooked in the crockpot. Serve with rice (like almost everything in Hawaii!)
